I was initially drawn to yoga looking for more flexibility and strength and better balance. Before finding Amy, I had some yoga experience and was looking to build on what I already had learned.
I work until 5:00 so I have to wait until 6:00 for class. But Amy's yoga class is worth the wait! Since practicing yoga, my focus and concentration in day to day life have greatly improved. Having yoga class at the beginning of the week really helps keep me be focused through the whole week.
I find myself doing things that I have learned in Amy's classes throughout the day whether it is squatting down to pick something up instead of bending or balancing on one foot while talking. I am taking care of myself. I find I am in a much better mood.
Amy creates and an easy going, low pressure environment. She encourages us to extend our ability with the options she gives. I am also glad to have her supervision while going through the poses, I am never sure when I am practicing at home if I am "doing it right".
Amy really cares about each student and makes sure we are all doing what works for our individual practice.
